Indra Sjafri: The Indonesian U-20 Team continues to improve
The Indonesian U-20 team continues to experience positive developments at the training camp (TC) held in Jakarta. The TC started from December 30 to February 10.
The Garuda Nusantara squad drew 0-0 against the Korean League 1 team, namely Suwon FC, at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta. The trial match was played with a 3x35 minute scheme.
The match was interesting and the Suwon FC team also fielded their main team. Duels between players and the fast and hard tempo of the match also colored this match.
Many opportunities were created by both the U-20 team and Suwon FC, however the result remained a 0-0 draw.

Regarding these results, the coach of the Indonesian U-20 team, Indra Sjafri, stated that his team had experienced a lot of development. Moreover, previously they had two international test matches against Thailand and Uzbekistan.
"The trial against is a way to see the development of the quality of players after following the training stimulus in the initial phase of forming the Indonesian U-20 team," said Indra Sjafri.
"I am satisfied with what the players displayed against Suwon FC. Seeing the players' ability to understand the philosophy of the game and the game plane is in line with what we want. However, we also continue to promote and relegate players," he added.
The Garuda Nusantara squad is back in the internal game. After that, the next day the team will finish their training camp and all the players will be returned to their respective clubs.
